IMPORTANT RULES & REGULATIONS

  1. Students suffering from infectious diseases will not be permitted to attend school until they are medically fit to do so.
  2. No arrangment should be made for private tuition at home for students to avoid confusing and hampering their progress,
    without checking with the Headmistress.
  3. All correspondence must be addressed to the Headmistress. The school does not approve of letters being addressed to
    individual teachers, or parents making a direct approach to them.
  4. Students should be left and received at the School gate by parents / guardians. To avoid distraction to the students nobody
    is allowed to enter the class rooms or loiter about the compound during class hours.
  5. Special attention is given to ensure a high standard of morality and discipline. Periodical reports will keep parents informed
    of the progress of their children.
  6. Students must address their teachers, and all other members of the Staff, with due respect and politeness. On their way to
    and from School they must act in a gentlemanly / lady-like manner, and with due honour to the name of the Institution.
  7. Students must be punctual for class. All late comers must report to the Office and letters stating the cause of their absence at the Assembly be presented to the Office before School begins. Only then can permission be granted to enter the classroom. Disregard of the schedule timings may result in the child’s name being struck off the School rolls.
  8. Reasons of a private nature may be intimated by letters. Birthday, excursions, urgent business or weddings are not sufficient reasons for absence. No leave of absence will be granted without prior application in writing from the parents.
  9. Pupils are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Each article should be marked with the pupil’s
    name. Any damage done to the property of the institution must be made good by the pupil concerned.
  10. All are obliged to take part in the activities of the School.
  11. In all questions of promotion or failure, the Headmistress’ decision is final.
  12. Before withdrawing a student from the School a month’s notice is to be given in writing or a month’s fee in lieu of notice.
  13. No Transfer Certificate will be issued until all dues to the institution have been paid in full and that also only on receipt of a written application from the parent or guardian and T.C. Fee of Rs. 300/-.
  14. On withdrawal of a child before the Final Examination no parent should expect or demand promotion of the child.
  15. The fees of the School covers twelve calendar months and may be paid in monthly instalments. No reduction is made for holidays, or broken period due to illness. Pupils are liable to be charged full fees as long as their names are officially on the rolls.
  16. Fees are to be paid in advance before the 20th of each month, failing which a late fee of Rs.10/- per day will be levied. Pupils whose fees are overdue are liable to have their names struck off the rolls and may be barred from sitting for examinations.
  17. It is the parent’s responsibility to attend to the cleanliness of the child before he/she comes to school.
  18. If parents have any complaints they should come personally or send the same in writing. Parents should not take the law into their own hands or cause ugly scenes in the school premises. Children, whose parents / guardians resort to these measures will be asked to stay away from school to avoid further embarrassment to the Staff and Students of the institution.
  19. Children will be permitted to attend school in coloured clothes only on their Birthdays, Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day and when notified in advance. Children must come to school in perfect School Uniform on other working days, failing which they may be sent home.
  20. All Staff, Students and Parents are obliged to follow the School rules and regulations in force from time to time as laid down by the Management.

ATTENDANCE

  1. The School insists on Regular and Punctual attendance.
  2. When it is necessary for a child to be absent the school should be informed. A child’s name will be removed from the School Register if he or she is absent for two weeks and the school has not been informed.
  3. Pupils must produce a letter from parents or guardians if they wish to leave the School early.
  4. Pupils are not allowed to leave the School without permission from the Headmistress.
